Have a look at this gorgeous young ruffle clam. Tridacna Squamosa
(aka ruffle, fluted, scaly clam) Stock is limited! These
seashells measure 4 to 5 inches. That's less than one third the size
of the adult ruffle clams which can grow up to 16 inches. Most often these shells
are white, however these juveniles are quite colorful ranging in color from
yellow, orange to pink.
Ruffle clams are a popular food item and are bred in captivity in a number
of countries, supplying domestic and international demand.
These clam shells are sold as a whole shell (both halves). We have a limited number of these beautiful seashells.
